Everyone returning to East next year, it's time to apply for Yearbook. Applications will be out by Thursday (hopefully) in front of B159. Yearbook counts as technology credit and it's a really fun class. We will only have seven returning members next year and we will probably choose about 17 new members. We are very interested in the sophomores-to-be and juniors-to-be, but we won't hold it against you if you're a senior-to-be. If you join as a sophomore or junior, it's pretty easy to get a leadership position the next year, because Yearbook consists of mostly seniors. This year we had two head editors, a layout editor, two photography editors, and a copy editor. If you think you don't have time for yearbook, you don't have to take it for a year, some people only take it for a semester. Another good journalism class to consider is Photo Journalism, which works closely with Yearbook, but is taught by Mrs. Wilson.
